Inspired by my dad, who passed away years ago. This area where I have created my home, is his family land. I get a lot of my inspirations from my ancestors, who grew up on the mountain that overlooks my property.

A big design moment for me was when I needed a handrail for the steps from the pond area down to the yard. I didn't want to spend a lot of money, so I walked out into the woods behind the house and at this and house. Nope nothing that looked suitable. So, as I often do, I said dad you were carpenter, what would you do? I looked down in the woods and there were remains of two old cedar fence posts. I like to have never cut them with the chainsaw. Heart was hard as iron. Said, "Thanks Dad. You are right. That's cool looking!"
